Two men from Oklahoma have been sentenced for their involvement in a federal drug conspiracy, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Dylan Thomas Emmick, 32, of Purcell, Oklahoma, received a sentence of 51 months in prison after being convicted on one count of drug conspiracy. Kody James Lile, 45, of Lindsay, Oklahoma, was also sentenced to 51 months in prison for one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Both individuals pleaded guilty to the charges on July 7, 2025.
Investigators reported that on November 9, 2024, Emmick and Lile traveled together from Oklahoma City into the Eastern District of Oklahoma with plans to distribute methamphetamine. During a traffic stop in Latimer County, law enforcement officers searched Emmick’s vehicle and found plastic baggies, a digital pocket scale with white crystalline residue, and more than 46 grams of pure methamphetamine.
The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Latimer County Sheriff’s Office.
The sentencing hearing was overseen by Senior U.S. District Judge Ronald A. White. Both defendants will remain in custody with the U.S. Marshals Service until they are transported to a designated federal prison facility to serve their sentences without parole.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Erin Cornell represented the government during sentencing.
