A Tulsa man was sentenced on Apr. 8 for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, according to U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.
U.S. District Judge William P. Johnson sentenced Daryl Delando Jackson, age 39, to 108 months in prison and eight years of supervised release.
The case began in June 2025 when Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers saw a vehicle traveling at 100 miles per hour in a zone where the speed limit was 65 miles per hour. When troopers attempted a traffic stop, Jackson did not pull over and led officers on a pursuit through a residential neighborhood and an apartment complex before fleeing on foot. After detaining him, troopers found a firearm, a large bag containing several small baggies of cocaine, liquid PCP, marijuana, and a scale.
Jackson has previous convictions that include eluding officers, drug possession, burglary, felony possession of a firearm, and possessing a stolen vehicle. He will remain in custody until he is transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigated the case and Assistant U.S. Attorney Adam Bailey prosecuted it.
