Wilson Vladmir Menjivar Sibrian, a Salvadoran national, was sentenced to time served for unlawful reentry of a removed alien, according to an announcement by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma on Mar. 24. Sibrian, also known under several aliases including Wilson Sibrianmenjivar and Wilson Menjivar-Sibrian, was found unlawfully present in Bryan County, Oklahoma.

The case highlights ongoing efforts by federal authorities to address illegal immigration and enforce existing laws regarding individuals who have previously been removed from the United States. According to investigators from U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, Sibrian was discovered in the United States on November 17, 2025 without having obtained consent from the Secretary of Homeland Security after being previously removed on November 20, 2018.

Sibrian pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful reentry in federal district court on December 3, 2025. The investigation also involved cooperation with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America—a nationwide initiative aimed at combating illegal immigration and eliminating cartels as well as transnational criminal organizations while protecting communities from violent crime perpetrators.

The sentencing hearing was presided over by Chief Judge Raúl M. Arias-Marxuach of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, sitting by assignment. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lewis M. Reagan represented the government during proceedings.
