Joshua Lee Bolin, a 26-year-old coach at Sallisaw High School in Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Bolin entered his plea to a superseding indictment, which carries a potential sentence of five to twenty years in prison and up to a $250,000 fine.

According to court documents, Bolin received visual depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct between January 2024 and June 28, 2024. The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Sallisaw Police Department.

“The Honorable Gerald L. Jackson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.”

A sentencing date will be set after consideration of federal guidelines and statutory factors by a U.S. District Court Judge.

“Bolin was remanded into the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.”

The prosecution is being handled by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jessie K. Pippin and Emily Wittlinger.
