Natasha Allmon, 48, of Oklahoma City, has entered a guilty plea to health care fraud charges, according to an announcement from U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.
Court documents show that between January 2021 and December 2023, Allmon worked as a behavioral health counselor and had an agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) to provide counseling services. During this period, she either submitted or caused the submission of thousands of false claims for counseling sessions involving family members. The records state that Allmon frequently claimed to have provided 60-minute psychiatric treatments to family members nearly every day throughout the year and reported treating beneficiaries for more than 24 hours in a single day. Over this time frame, she submitted about $1.4 million in claims and received close to $1.1 million in reimbursements from BCBS.
“On August 1, 2025, Allmon was charged by Information with health care fraud. Allmon pleaded guilty on August 15, 2025, and admitted she knowingly executed a scheme to defraud a healthcare benefit program.”
Allmon could face up to ten years in federal prison and a fine reaching $250,000 at her sentencing.
The FBI Oklahoma City Field Office conducted the investigation into the case. Assistant U.S. Attorney D.H. Dilbeck is leading the prosecution.
