A Muskogee resident, DaQurius Razjoune Johnson, also known as Daquarius Razjoune Johnson, has pleaded guilty to the charge of being a felon in possession of ammunition. This offense carries a potential sentence of up to 15 years in prison and a fine reaching $250,000.

The indictment against Johnson detailed that he was found in possession of thirty-five rounds of ammunition on July 24, 2024. This occurred following his previous conviction for a crime punishable by more than one year of imprisonment.

The investigation leading to these charges was conducted by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Lighthorse Tribal Police Department alongside the Drug Enforcement Administration.

U.S. Magistrate Judge D. Edward Snow accepted Johnson’s plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. The judge has ordered a presentence investigation report to be completed.

The final sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge who will consider both the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other relevant statutory factors before making a decision.

Until his sentencing, Johnson will remain under the custody of the United States Marshals Service.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jacob R. Parker represented the United States in this case.
