A Muskogee resident has pleaded guilty to federal drug charges involving methamphetamine distribution, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Drew Alexander Ragsdale, also known as Drew Alexander Ragsdale-Smith, Drew Down, and Skat, age 28, entered a guilty plea to two counts of distributing methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Each distribution charge carries a potential sentence of 5 to 40 years in prison and a fine up to $5 million. The possession with intent to distribute charge is punishable by a minimum of 10 years in prison and a $10 million fine.

Prosecutors stated that on February 4 and February 26, 2025, Ragsdale knowingly distributed at least five grams of methamphetamine. On March 4, 2025, he was found in possession of at least fifty grams of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

The case resulted from an investigation involving several agencies: the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Drug Enforcement Administration, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and Muskogee Police Department.

“The Honorable D. Edward Snow, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.”

A U.S. District Court Judge will determine sentencing after reviewing federal guidelines and statutory factors. Ragsdale remains in custody pending sentencing by the United States Marshals Service.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Richard J. Lorenz and Emily Wittlinger are representing the government in this case.
