Luis Cuellar-Martinez, also known as Luis Cueller, Luis Martinez, and Luis Martinez Cueller, has pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful reentry of a removed alien. The plea was entered in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Cuellar-Martinez, a 32-year-old Mexican national who was unlawfully present in Poteau, Oklahoma, faces up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
The case resulted from an investigation conducted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. According to the indictment, on July 31, 2025, Cuellar-Martinez was found in the United States without having obtained permission from the Secretary of Homeland Security to reapply for admission after being previously removed in 2014.
