A federal grand jury has indicted Taylor Ryan Prigmore, 30, of McLoud, Oklahoma, on charges related to threats and violence against federal law enforcement officers. The indictment follows an incident in which Prigmore allegedly fired at FBI agents during his arrest and posted threats online.

According to court records, from May 9, 2025, through January 17, 2026, a YouTube account believed to belong to Prigmore posted multiple comments threatening to kill Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and others. He also threatened to kill any law enforcement officers who came to his residence.

On January 19, 2026, the FBI arrested Prigmore after a brief standoff during which he reportedly fired several rounds at federal agents. No injuries were reported.

On February 17, a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging Prigmore with attempted murder of federal law enforcement officers, assaulting federal officers, possessing and discharging a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, four counts of threatening to murder federal law enforcement officers, and two counts of communicating a threat. If convicted on all charges, he could face up to 100 years in prison and fines totaling $2.25 million.

U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester stated: “The public is reminded that these charges are merely allegations, and that the defendant is innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.”

The case was investigated by the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office’s Joint Terrorism Task Force with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Arvo Mikkanen and Matt Dillon are prosecuting the case.

This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America—a Department of Justice initiative aimed at addressing illegal immigration issues as well as combating cartels and violent crime organizations nationwide.
