A Jenks man, Jason Gardner Davis, 52, was sentenced in federal court for receiving and distributing child pornography. U.S. District Judge John D. Russell sentenced Davis to 78 months in prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release. In addition to imprisonment, Davis must pay $5,100 in restitution and monetary assessments and register as a sex offender upon his release.
The sentencing follows an investigation that began when Davis engaged with an undercover agent on a social media app between October 2022 and February 2023. According to court records, Davis received sexual gratification from obtaining and sharing sexually explicit images and videos involving minor children. He distributed child sexual abuse material to the undercover agent during their online communications.
Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Davis’ home and conducted a forensic analysis of his cellphone. Investigators discovered 99 images and 39 videos depicting child sexual abuse material, including content involving pre-pubescent children and sadistic conduct.
Davis was taken into custody after entering a guilty plea in May and will remain detained until he is transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons.
The case was investigated by the FBI and prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ashley Robert and Nathan Michel.
U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson stated: “A Jenks man was sentenced today after a forensic analysis of his cellphone revealed 99 images and 39 videos of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct, announced U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.”
This prosecution is part of Project Safe Childhood, an initiative launched by the Department of Justice in May 2006 aimed at combating child sexual exploitation online by coordinating federal, state, and local efforts to identify offenders and rescue victims.
