Caleb Chainey Hensley, a 26-year-old resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to distributing methamphetamine. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Hensley entered his plea to one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine, which carries a potential sentence ranging from ten years to life in prison and a fine up to $10 million.
According to the indictment, on May 13, 2024, Hensley knowingly distributed at least 50 grams of methamphetamine. This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Hensley’s plea in federal court and ordered a presentence investigation report. Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge after reviewing the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other legal factors.
Hensley is currently being held by the United States Marshals Service until sentencing takes place.
