A federal jury in Oklahoma City has convicted Cleveland David Hall, II, 43, of Marietta, Georgia, for possessing a firearm after having previously been convicted of a felony. The conviction was announced by U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Hall was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Western District of Oklahoma on September 2, 2025. The indictment charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm. On January 13, 2026, the jury found Hall guilty.

Trial testimony revealed that on August 5, 2025, an Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped Hall’s vehicle on Interstate 40 in Oklahoma City. A search of the vehicle led law enforcement to recover a firearm.

Public records indicate that Hall has a prior federal conviction from the Southern District of Georgia related to drug conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances (case number 11-CR-270).

At sentencing, Hall could face up to fifteen years in federal prison and a fine as high as $250,000.

The investigation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, and Oklahoma City Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Stephen Hoch and Drew E. Davis are prosecuting the case.
