Attorney General Gentner Drummond has expressed support for the federal government’s response to a recent incident involving threats against law enforcement. The case centers on a McLoud resident who was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill federal immigration agents.

Drummond acknowledged the actions taken by President Trump’s administration in the aftermath of the arrest. “I commend President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel for their decisive action to protect our law enforcement officers,” Drummond said. “These agents deserve our unwavering support, not threats against their lives. The swift arrest of this individual sends a clear message: threats against the brave men and women who risk their lives to keep our communities safe will not be tolerated in Oklahoma or anywhere in America.”

Drummond also stated that his office is prepared to provide assistance as needed. “My office has offered any resources or assistance needed to ensure this person faces the full consequences of his alleged actions. We will work hand-in-hand with our federal partners to hold accountable anyone who threatens violence against law enforcement officers in our state.”

The Attorney General emphasized cooperation between state and federal authorities in addressing such threats.
