A Carter County resident has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of illegally possessing ammunition. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Lacey Marie Robinson, 33, from Autry, Oklahoma, admitted guilt to one count of being a felon in possession of ammunition. This offense carries a maximum penalty of up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
According to the indictment, on August 15, 2025, Robinson knowingly possessed two rounds of .22 caliber ammunition and one .22 caliber lead bullet after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year in prison.
The investigation was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Robinson’s plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and ordered a presentence investigation report.
Sentencing will be determined by a U.S. District Court Judge who will consider both federal sentencing guidelines and other statutory factors.
Robinson is currently held by the United States Marshals Service while awaiting sentencing.
