Justin Eagle Chambers, a 39-year-old resident of Colbert, Oklahoma, was sentenced to time served for one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a prohibited person, according to an April 2 announcement from the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The case highlights ongoing efforts by federal authorities to address gun-related offenses and protect communities from violent crime. The charge against Chambers stemmed from an investigation conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in collaboration with the Achille Police Department.

Chambers pleaded guilty on September 15, 2025. Investigators said that on March 26, 2025, he knowingly possessed a pistol and ammunition after receiving notice that he was subject to a court order restraining him from harassing or threatening an intimate partner. The order explicitly prohibited him from using or threatening physical force.

This prosecution is part of Operation Take Back America. According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, this nationwide initiative aims “to repel the invasion of illegal immigration, achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs), and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.”

The sentencing hearing was presided over by Senior Judge Ronald A. White in federal district court. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lewis M. Reagan represented the government during proceedings.
