Allen man pleads guilty to assault causing serious injury on Chickasaw Nation land

Clinton Ray Stowe, a 36-year-old resident of Allen, Oklahoma, has pleaded guilty to one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country. The charge carries a potential sentence of up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

According to the indictment, the incident occurred on October 27, 2025, when Stowe assaulted an individual in Ada, Oklahoma. The location falls within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation and is part of the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives together with the Ada Police Department.

The plea was accepted by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. Judge Robertson ordered a presentence investigation report before sentencing.

A U.S. District Court Judge will determine Stowe’s sentence after reviewing relevant guidelines and statutory factors. In the meantime, Stowe will remain in custody under the supervision of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
